"A small quaint coffee shop, with limited parking outside. It offers internal seating and a few external picnic benches on a raised deck to sit at to enjoy the beautiful view. You can also enjoy a short but scenic walk along the coast from the back of the cafe. It also has a toilet available for customers. Prices are average I would say. Nice coffee and tea."

"Lovey, calm place. Beautiful views. Gorgeous homemade carrot cake and coffee. Staff very friendly and informative. It was lovely to know their delf was made by a local potter. Cups suitable for older people as they were easy to hold."

"Great brunch with an outstanding sea view! It was my partner’s and my first visit there, and the smell of coffee was simply the best welcome. I ordered a dirty chai, and my partner had a flat white. She enjoyed a homemade sausage roll, while I had a goat cheese toastie. For a wee cheeky treat, we shared a carrot cake that tasted wonderful. Our only feedback would be to add more walnuts for an even better texture. We were very lucky to be served by one of the café staff members who holds a British Sign Language Level 6 qualification and is training to become an interpreter. That made for brilliant communication access and ensured our brunch order was spot-on. All the staff made us feel warmly welcomed, and the local people were so friendly. We’d highly recommend visiting Coan Café a wonderful place for mindfulness, connection, and love."

"The most beautiful coffee spot on the Ards peninsula. Inside is beautifully furnished. Terracotta tables, nice cutlery, and a great view of Strangford Lough. All justified by the really great coffee. They sell a few hot items, but the jammy dodger blondie was a personal favourite."

"Probably the best view of any coffee shop for miles. Staff really friendly, great tray bakes, reasonable prices. For me they could do with bigger cups but thats a minor niggle. We come here regularly."

"Hidden Gem!! The traybakes are delightful, a perfect ample size! The filter coffee was VERY tasty, the americano was lovely and my children’s chocolates were very good. Friendly staff and a perfect position overlooking the water."

"We made a special journey to visit Coan and it’s well worth the trip. Small and cosy with very friendly staff. The coffee is delicious and the tray bakes are amazing. Had possibly my best sausage roll of all time. Thank you :-)"

"Passed this place hundreds of times in the car and on the motorbike and always said, I must call in. Stopped today with the wife just for a coffee. Ended up with 2 hot drinks, a scone and an apple crumble bun. The place was buzzing. The 2 girls serving were polite and friendly. Sat on the rear patio. The scone the wife had was absolutely delish(her words) and the apple crumble but was outstanding. As for the coffee... omg, it was the best in a long time. Definitely won't be passed another hundred times before stopping again. Keep up the good work 5 without a doubt"
